The brief.

DigiXPro is a secure, tablet-based digital examination platform built to modernise assessments for engineering and technical institutions. Vibrant Info developed encrypted question-paper delivery, tools for technical drawing and graphing, and a scalable backend on AWS capable of handling 750+ concurrent students – successfully piloted with 1,000+ students at scale.

Challenges

  • Security : Unauthorized access to question paper, answer sheets of students
  • Complexity : Ruled sheet, Graph, Semilog, Psychometric sheets, Drawing shapes and Tools like Potractor, Arc, etc implemented to enable engineering students take up exam smoothly with no constrains

Solutions

  • Proper authentication and authorization protocols were implemented to guarantee that the correct applicant is accessing in secured environment with no errors encryption of Question paper and Answer sheets were converted to PDF (non editable) with encryption.
  • successfully addressed through innovative solutions with research and R&D. These solutions required a combination of technical expertise, collaboration, and user-centered design.
  • Testing Limitations : With limited Tablet device, to test validations and some of the realtime scenarios, exams were conducted in the institute (local secured server) setup in institute with 1000+ students (concurrent user max 750)
